  LGBTI in clinical services | 31/05/2014  

The Lebanese Medical Association for Sexual Health (LebMASH) and the Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health Project at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Beirut have organizing a Full Day CME course “LGBTI in clinical services” on Saturday 31st of May, 2014 at Bathish Auditorium at the West Hall, AUB. This course held for the first time in Lebanon and the region, goes in line with the previous workshop held in September 2012 with health care providers regarding "youth friendly sexual health services", and aims to introduce sexual health providers to the notion of LGBTI sexuality and train them on how to approach LGBTI in a service setting.

Attendees included primary care physicians, family physicians, general practitioners, and clinicians who are interested in improving their knowledge in dealing with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people in the clinical setting.
